4. *Large room with a vanity, small table and 2 chairs*free parking for hotel guests*Iron/Board/Hairdryer*Strong Air-conditioner*Location ( I prefer being off the strip - too many posers and tourists)Cons*No swimming pool (although I think you'll be able to use the one at their sister hotel The Plaza once it re-opens)*Smoky smell in Casino*Outdated decor*Slow draining tub and sink+++++ After 4pm,The Market Cafe in the California Casino (across the street) has a DELICIOUS prime rib dinner with salad bar, potato, veg, and dessert for only $8.

7. We did venture out of the hotel down Fremont street and watched all the free bands, lightshow, cable runners, celebrity imposters, shopped all the little nick-nack stores, and went to an excellent bar just off Fremont, Hogs & Heifers, if you like full participation bars this is the place to go.
