1. - Really cheap rates- Most of the rooms have been renovated- Clean rooms- free access to the top of the towerThe bad:- Pool area is nothing especial, not really a place I would like to spend too much time in- Several of the common areas and elevators are in need of upgrades or at least repairs- Really far from the nice area of The Strip.

2. One bonus is you get free access to Stratosphere Tower, any time during your visit using your room key, while everyone else has to pay to go up the tower.

I had a lovely view over the Strip and saw the people who jumped off the tower from my window (which is kind of weird when you see the first time somebody 'falling' down)With your room card you have free admission of the tower and can enjoy a great view from story 108 (and your ears will pop when the elevator gets you up there in no time.
