2. The room was just a bit plane but who comes to vegas to sit in a hotel room accept to sleep (like that ever happens anyway), if i wanted to sleep through a vacation i would have gone to the beach and vegged out in the sun.

3. They then wouldn't accept our UK drivers liscence as ID at the pool as if we'd leave our passports for all to steal when we where swimming.

4. I was refused in the coffee bar - the guy implied that I could be up to fraud since I only had my rewards card but no ID so he refused to accept the card.

6. We accepted two queen beds instead of a king in order to get this upgrade, but it was very comfortable.

8. We asked if we could have rooms revised to where we were next to our friends, and were offered a $20 upgrade to do so, and we accepted.

So what does one do at this price- stay at the slightly better Luxor at the end of the strip, the even cheaper Riv or Strat at the other end, or right in the middle of everything in an acceptable room at the Flamingo? I'll stay here again but only if I want to really save on the room price yet not feel regretful, otherwise consider spending a few more dollars and upgrade the hotel.

10. So, we we awakened at 5:30 AM when they started refurbishing the room above us -- we asked to be moved and accepted a downgrade to the regular room and it was surprisingly in better condition than the refurbished room.
