1. I have also stayed at the Flamingo which I liked far better than Bally's, a well as the Luxor which was ok but inconvenient to get to the convention center and the rest of the strip, and at the Hilton (now the LVH) which was convenient to the convention center, but is off the strip, so a monorail pass is a must.

6. It was conveniently connected via indoor walkway to Paris, and right across the street from both Caesar's Palace and Bellagio -- all of which are must-see resorts in Las Vegas (in my opinion).

8. The Bally's pool was to be closed, so we were able to use the Paris pool our entire stay (found out the last two days Bally's pool had opened due to the beuautiful weather) We chose this hotel becuse of convenience, as it was centrally located to all of the restaurants we wanted to eat at.
