1. Non recommendable under any circumstances, if on a budget, as we are, there are plenty of other better options.

2. The hotel staff are tremendous, go out of their way to help and the Bartenders are THE BEST in town (go see Po in the sportsbook and David upstairs) there are no better in Vegas.

I have also stayed at the Flamingo which I liked far better than Bally's, a well as the Luxor which was ok but inconvenient to get to the convention center and the rest of the strip, and at the Hilton (now the LVH) which was convenient to the convention center, but is off the strip, so a monorail pass is a must.

5. My parents were given a room next door when we asked for an upgrade for them for their anniversary, this room was much better and they told us the beds were comfortable, the receptionist told us we would have a good view of the strip, we did but only a small corner of it if we strained our necks.

6. Bally's has a better location and design than IP for just a little more money.

7. The ventilation in the lobby and casino areas is does not keep up with the cigarette smoke (Bellagio and Venetian are both much better on this) and the lobby and casino are quite dated in decor.

10. I wasn't calling for that I was calling to ask why in the hell they hadn't prepared anyone??? Anyway, I will never forget that stay and wish we had gotten a better hotel that cared about their customers enough to fill them in to what was going to explode in the early morning.
