1. The basic premise for happiness at the Fremont Hotel, or any of the other Fremont Street/Downtown Las Vegas hotels, is to accept that there are two separate, distinct parts to Las Vegas.

3. Housekeeping picked up the slack the next day and the room was kept impeccably after that, but I'm still wondering how anyone could possibly have thought it would be acceptable to make up a bed with ripped sheets.
