1. big plus was to not have smelled smoke upon entering either the hallway or room (I know, it's an awful stinky habit, but I hate the overpowering smell from some rooms I have stayed in).

2. It's an older hotel and taking that into consideration it was a nice surprise to have found big screen tv, our own thermostat and overall new furnishings.

3. I'm not a big gambler but enjoy video poker and $5 blackjack (6/5) and they actually had a non-smoking table open most evenings.
