1. BUT if you want to go Tao nightclub it's a good reason to stay as you jump the queue as a hotel guest and get complimentary entry and it a very good nightclub.

The next day when we queried we were told the upgrade was the view, however the bell boy told us the room wasn't really an upgrade as we were further away from everything with less amenities but they had a big convention, which had taken up alot of rooms so that probably was the real reason we were put there.

4. The reason for the casino is for some mindless entertainment so these new machines defeat the whole purpose.

5. When I arrived in Las Vegas I went straight to the hotel to check in to my surprise the front desk lady do not want to honor my reservation and her stupid reason was because the room was not booked under my name eventhough it was mentioned that I am also staying in the room.

6. No matter how much I like staying in the Venetian, the mandatory resort fee for me is a reason to go and find another hotel next time I visit Vegas (I know a lot of hotels have these mandatory fees in Vegas but I will still give it a try).

We booked a stay at the Venetian as part of our mini tour of California and NevadaThe TA reviews are pretty spot on and I cannot really add too much to what has already been posted by othersOur Suite was beautiful, nice bathroom, extremely comfortable bed and a good seating area, all spotless and well cleanedWe were on the 24th floor toward the rear of the hotel and the view from our room was the Wynn Golf Course so not too badThe hotel itself is quite big and the casino equally so, once you get your bearings navigating the hotel, casino and shops is reasonably easyPlenty of places to eat and drink everywhere you look so no problems at all on that front.

10. The on site restaurants were plenty- we at in the Grand de Luxe cafe, the Delmonico, the food court and their sandwich shoppe which offers a variety of menu items at reasonable prices.
