The first room we were given smelled
like
something had died in it, so we went down to swap it out.

The only thing I did not
like
was the shower head location in the bath area because it was setup for a handicap person and made no sense for anyone who would stand up to shower.

When I spoke with the manager the next day, he had been told nothing of the event (even though I asked the front desk worker to leave it in a message), and even acted
like
it might not have happened.

We've stayed there several times, so the downsides don't bother us as much as we
like
the upside of the location - and the fact that, un
like
other downtown hotels, you don't find a parking charge of $20/night tacked onto your room rate.

The property seems
like
an apartment building where you can hear people upstairs walking on the wood floors.
