3. I booked it after a couple of recommendations and finding it in a couple of places I use to find cool hotels and I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint - when I spoke to some friends in Austin they said 'ooh - that's the coolest hotel in town'.

4. We LOVED the courtyard, and grabbed drinks from the hotel happy hour and cupcakes from down the street at Hey Cupcakes and stayed out on the patio chatting with local friends.

7. Even though the happy hour was happy hours plural, through at least midnight, and I was not far from the patio, I didn`t hear it with the A/C on.

8. We were there two nights, weds and thursday, and the afternoon happy hour actually started at more like 7 PM and was a local gathering spot, kind of interesting for a hotel.
