1. It's a good 30 minutes to the airport and downtown, and even more if you are travelling during Austin's nightmare rush hours.

9. Thank goodness for my diamond status with Hilton, as the staff at the front desk said they were only able to provide rooms for people with Hilton Gold and above status.
