1. Even with a small, dirty and smelly pool for your kids or free alcohol&snacks for the adults in the evenings there are other spots where you can take your family for a long weekend :) I couldn't use the fitness center because some kids were playing with the machines.

Nestled in the Arboretum area of Austin that's close to theatres, the Domain (upscale shopping) and restaurants/shopping, the Embassy Suites hotel is fantastic at providing ambiance, a fabulous free breakfast with made-to-order omelet station, and a nightly happy hour with appetizers, and free paper.
