1. Given we only stayed a night we wanted a hotel that was well positioned to the theme parks, clean, comfortable beds and had that DIsney feeling.

2. On the positive side, the kids had a great 'breakfast with Goofy', I would recommend doing this, and you don't have to be staying at the hotel.

7. As a frequent visitor to Disney World (I'm an annual passholder), I've experienced a lot of positive cast member interactions, and I still found the cast members in Anaheim to be more courteous and attentive than their Orlando counterparts.

8. It's incredible that 40+ years of positive associations can be flushed down the toilet with one incredibly bad experience, but that's darn near what happened with my family's recent stay at the Disneyland Hotel.
