I agree with a lot of the 'average or good value rating':This is what we did upon arriving in the evening: we walked up the two block to the cable cars start and then one bloc up in Powell and asked the price for a room in a tiny great looking hotel (not a luxury but nice looking) and we were told that this one night we could stay for 280 dollars and the next night for 330 dollars .

9. The street is good located but it's full of homeless people, you don't have to feel afraid, they are in their own business and they aren't going to tell you anything.

10. Cheap eats nearby on 6th - Tacos sandwich shop and Tu Lan Vietnamese are both excellent and good sized portions for the price.
