3. The music practice area below has a curfew of 11pm i think, and this is strict and they keep to the rules so by 11pm it will be quiet.

4. Another thing to remember is with hostels you get room-mates, ours were friendly and quiet but if you're going to book a bunk room then you have to consider this - and bring a padlock for your bag if you're worried.

7. After 2 nights of this I went to the receptionist (located at the Nob Hill Hotel) and explained that after entire day of walking, sightseeing etc we were tired and were looking for some quiet time to relax, perhaps watch some TV and maybe hitting the sheets early.
