1. Touchstone is situated downtown, right in the heart of the Union Square area and offers everything you'd want and need for a very reasonable price.

3. The rooms are very small but not uncomfortable - for the price I see it as pretty reasonable considering you are right in the heart of downtown and only 3 blocks away from the BART, Cable Cars, Market St and all other Muni Transportation.

The good:- near union square- reasonable price- clean- free turtle wifiThe bad:- very very slow wifi - few tv channels- no free breakfast but there are breakfast places in the vicinity- room is small bathroom is tiny- old hotel, slow elevator can only accomodate 3 pax- homeless people roaming outside the hotel- can't sleep well due to all sort of noise outside.
