4. good: near to Union SquareBad: right next to Tenderloin - the notorious area where you should not walk at night AND hotel did not reply me after 3, 4 times chasers regarding my request to check on the lost shipment (forgot some clothes there, hotel sent to me but I've never received it after close to 4 months now despite I had paid for the shipping).

7. A bit to crowded with tourists for me, but then again, being on the Alpha Road for tourist's is probably what makes this hotel a practical and good choice.
