2. The ranking was based on the inside of the hotel and the room - when we were leaving and getting our stuff we saw that someone prior to us had forgotten a shirt - we left it where we found it but it was strange that after the room was 'cleaned' no one noticed the shirt that fell behind the chair.

3. All in all, it was a very good experience for such a low price and I would definitely recommend it for budget-conscious travellers who want to have a clean, comfortable and conveniently-located place to go back to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing.

7. On the plus side, the housekeeping staff did a good job of keeping the admittedly dingy surfaces clean, and I only saw one undersized cockroach.

8. We had one room with 2 double beds, we had already read the reviews so were not expecting 5star but it wasn't that bad,yes the room was small and dated, but it was clean apart from the windows.

9. stayed here for three nights on arrival sink was blocked with hair reported to reception and sorted straight away/// rooms were clean a bit dated could be done with a tidy up//no view at back of hotel just a big building but was quiet whitch was fine///it served its purpose and was central//would use again///the beggars in sanfransisco are a right pain forever hassling you.

10. )Wasn't expecting luxury, but the place is in bad need of a refurb, it doesn't look like it's been decorated for 50-years, the room wasn't very clean and there were no ice machines or fridges for drinks and no safe in the room.
