1. Hotel attracts a younger crowd that likes to come in late making lots of noise.
"You get what you pay for " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/6/2012 Vote
2. More like a hostel - no facilities, depressing, soulless and really pretty foul.
"Not one I will repeat " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/7/2012 Vote
3. The people at the front desk are really nice, the toilets are a little old but still clean, the rooms are on the small side but then again it's not like you'd get a huge room for $60/night, the elevator is a classic and I loved riding it.
"Location and Price!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/12/2011 Vote
4. My room, just like my first time stay at the hotel in June 2011 visit was adequate for my needs.
"The Return " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/6/2011 Vote
5. I liked the brightness due to natural sunlight but since it was facing the street, city noise was a constant.

6. This didn't bother us too much, it really was like college again lol even funnier seeing the girl sheepishly scurry about the hall the following day, but like any hotel if things like this bothers you, you speak to management to have it seen to at the time, you don't bottle it up then have a cry about it online a couple months later ;)- there is a club/bar adjacent to the rear of the building so some nights, usually weekends, you may hear distant music but no later than 1130-midnight.
"cant be beat for price and location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/30/2011 Vote
7. The building itself is old, just like a lot of buildings in the city that havent been rebuilt from the ground up, so im not going to whinge about things like the period elevator (complete with accordion mesh style door), yes it's a bit small (still not even close to some of the ones ive been in) but if you don't like it, use the stairs.

"Adequate " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/14/2011 Vote
9. I liked the pillows.
