2. Their is an onsite restaurant with a great menu, if this does not suit there is plenty of others outside of the hotel.

3. The rooms were great and spacious, but ask for a room high up, not on the ground floor with patio's facing the pool were undisciplined children run and shout around the pool with no consideration to other guests staying there.

7. (Highly recommend eating at THe Steps of Rome Caffe), Pier 1 for the great Farmers Market, Pier 39 for all the tourist shops and activities, Pier 33 to get the boat to Alcatraz- take the night tour- it is amazing.

8. The location is decent because the hotel is 2 blocks from the Powell Bart station and half a block from Union Square with all its great restaurant and shopping areas.
