1. The staff was helpful and welcoming, the in-room coffee was good (a pleasant surprise) and the pastries at breakfast included fresh donuts as well as those packaged ones.

2. Just be aware of what it does and doesn't do, ie its a perfectly pleasant motel but isn't a full service hotel so doesn't offer room service, swimming pools, restaurant etc.

8. The elevator took us up to our first-floor room (really the second if you count the garage) and I was pleasantly surprised when we opened the door and found a spacious room with a King size bed as requested.
