1. Decor is not overly modern and the furnishings etc are not brand new or overly modern.

I don't usually stay in anything high end, I am use to the likes of middle of the road hotels such as Hilton's Garden Inn or Marriott's Courtyard and Residence Inn and I get a little weary when it comes to booking a no name brand hotel, especially with 'Motor Inn' in the name; but the high prices of all the hotels it gave me a little encouragement to try something new.
