1. When in San Francisco, you can stay at any of the large chain hotels - and feel like you're in any city - or stay at the Hotel Rex and feel like you're in San Francisco.

2. *Some of the wiring and cabling left quite a bit to be desired - tacked to carpet and what seemed to be a number of overloaded plugs were jutting out underneath the desk*one slow, small, cramped elevator*kids seem a little out of place here as the target audience doesn't seem to be families, although our child stayed free*not much choice for dining - breakfast buffet only and no kids menuProbably a great place to stay if you're into art and the like or the drawing room culture.
"Quirky and arty but may not be for those with kids " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote

4. The library bar/lounge area is lovely and a great place for an early evening glass of wine (free) and a bar snack or meal if you don't feel like venturing out again.
"Excellent city centre hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/21/2012 Vote
5. Valet parking costs slightly more than some of the close by lots but you can come and go as many times as you like throughout the day so if you're in and out it a few times a day you'll probably end up paying less.

7. I really felt like I was their target demographic (30's, single, interested in a bargain food truck burrito, Michelin star ratings, a proper cocktail, or a relaxed pint with equal enthusiasm).
