6. It's not the swankiest hotel in San Francisco but it's in a good location and reasonably priced in the area (compared to other $400+/night).

7. I was hoping to find somewhere with a reasonable parking surcharge in a nice part of town, but that apparently just isn't much of an option without a lot of pre-planning, and 4-6 weeks isn't enough to do that.
