1. the night porter sleeps in a chair in the lobby (classy), And the stairs look like they are a garbage shoot.

3. Garretts popcorn is also on the same block so the smell of Popcorn is awesome :)The staff was very helpfull and Housekeeping did a very good job everydayA bonus was the floors in the bath off the bedroom had what seemed liked heated floors which was great after all the walking.

5. as well as they made me pay when i checked in probably not wanting me to throw a fit and leave like we should have and when we checked out they did not ask us how our stay was.

6. Now we could not even sleep i was too hot five girls in a 95 deg room it was hell we got up by 730 am after not even going to sleep till after 4 we were all DREDDINg going back to the hotel and none of us could sleep in it which we would of liked to that was the point of getting a hotel.

7. The economical accommodations are clean and modern, with an abundance of free amenities like WiFi , Cable TV, and local and long distance phone calls.

8. I'm never one to complain but our time here was so miserable, and things just got from bad to terrible - I have never experienced anything like it.

9. We get to our room and are greeted by an overwhelming smokey smell, a toilet that constantly runs, a bathroom door that you literally have to shove to even get open, and an a/c unit that sounds more like a motor boat.

This is this second time i have stayed here and nothing has changed in 5 years it has just dated It is time for an upgrade but still good value and clean,we arrived at 1 in the morning and the desk staff were great we had just flown 22 hrs and were exhausted they wervery friendly and got us to our room very promptlyHad a bit of trouble opening the windows to get fresh air but once we got that done sleep like a baby until early morning andthen we went exploring chicago and what a great city I Love itDo the river architecture tour it is a must for visitors to chicago to understandthecity.
