1. The sunshades are in fixed positions and there are hundreds of them so you are either in deep shade or in total sun, there is no chance to move these sunshades to your own preference.

2. Just returned from spending 4 nights at Vdara and for the most part it was a positive stay.

3. There are lots of positives:- large, beautiful room with great features- quiet and very clean hotel- some lovely staff and excellent maids who go all out to tidyHowever, the negatives are:- feels like things are missing, we only had one tiny bin for kitchen, general and bathroom waste- if we can have robes, why not leave them in the room- no kitchen bits and bobs- restrictive opening times on the swimming pool- a lack of food options and the quality of the food from the Market food kitchen was poor for the price- no real restaurant or all hours food place: it is Vegas - don't forget your resort fee.

4. We stayed at Vdara with our 2-year old daughter and the absence of noise in hallways and the way its rooms are designed played very positive role in our whole impression of the hotel.

5. After reading many of the reviews, both positive and negative I would say they all have some merit.
"Lovely rooms, but some staff issues. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/22/2012 Vote
6. The main part of the room was largely taken up by the bed and the pulled out couch - but if the couch was in normal position, it would have felt spacious and comfortable.
"Great spot for couples - nice and new " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/16/2012 Vote

9. On the positive side, the rooms were pretty quiet considering the hotel's position in relation to the freeway.
"Most of the 4-5 star trappings, but not quite there " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/31/2012 Vote
10. It's all non-smoking, does not have its own casino, and is pretty well positioned in the middle of the Strip behind the Cosmopolitan, next to Bellagio and opposite Paris.
