3. It's right by Washington Square, so the location is fantastic for exploring Greenwich Village, SoHo etc, and feels safe to walk round or come back to late at night.

8. Two great Mario Buttali restaurants - Otto and Babbo, are both within a block and I am embarrased to say that we hit both in one night as they are both fantastic.
