1. We wanted to eat at a German restaurant but the Hotel concierge told us there were none around due to the fact that New Yorkers do not like German food.

8. I live on the upper west side and don't normally like the upper east side but after a night's sleep of perfect quiet, I now understand why people would live on the upper east side.
