1. Breakfast area is also tiny and nearly impossible to push thru the crowd to toast a bagel (and not a good NYC bagel, just cheap generic version).

4. Management was on property the entire weekend, brought in extra food, made sure we understood that a generator was available in the event of electrical interruption, etc.

5. My first night was terrible, arrived around 10pm and was put in room 105 which is below street level (I had asked for a room on a higher floor), it doesn't have adequate curtains and generally felt very unsafe (I was travelling alone).

6. I sleep fairly lightly so it was an issue but in general if you are a sound sleeper you should be fine.

8. The breakfast area is next to the lobby and looks out on to the street and there's a generous patio area as well for those who like to dine al fresco.

9. The hotel in general was quite noisy, especially for the first 2 nights we were there, we had these really loud spanish people in the 2 rooms opposite from our room and I think they were up all night running up and down the corridors, slamming doors and just being generally noisy.
