3. Price is reasonable - by NYC standards- and service is as good as the top chains like Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, and Mandarin Oriental, each of which are much pricier.

4. It took me a while to decide on the hotel we were going to stay but I chose the Staybridge for four reasons: it looked comfortable, it had free internet, free breakfast and an in-room kitchen.
