1. This hotel had to fill the expectations of our previous stay at their other hotel The Casablanca, and i am happy to say it did.

It proved to be worth it, however, for several reasons: 1)I waited to stay here until I could split the cost with someone else 2)since we had a hearty lunch, the 4 to 6 happy hour served as dinner (which saves one a LOT in New York City, 3) the location is wonderful for walking to a number of sites that one is going to want to see.

7. We were allocated the Fairytale room on floor 8, this was lovely and when we got into the room the staff had set up a little table with flowers, champagne, chocolate, fruit and a card wishing us a happy anniversary - this was amazing.

9. They were happy to toast your bagels/ bread in the morning, to arrange dinner reservations and even to reconfirm sightseeing trips that I had arranged prior to coming to New York.
