1. If one is up to it and the weather is nice, one can also walk within 20-30 minutes to the historic area to see Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, etc.

5. My room was a little too small and the view was not great but taking to consideration my last minute reservation it was still a very nice weekend in Philly.

7. It looked like a former exterior of the building that was kept intact and a nice meeting area created when an additional building was added.

8. There is a nice bar and Le Bistro off the lobby; enjoyed the Crab Frisse salad (more crab than I could eat actually) for $18.

9. Like many City hotels the elevator only works with your room key and only to your floor and public areas - a nice touch for the security conscious and single travelers.

10. The $38 parking charged would have eaten any savings made by pre-booking so I asked one of the bell-hops for an alternative - he guided me to a flat-rate $5 for 24-hours lot two blocks away on 16th street, nice one.
