For one thing though you can pay for parking in their lot, there was plenty of free parking available on the street (at least on weekends) and it seemed
like
a safe enough area to leave one's car parked outside.

I
like
a good restaurant as much as the next fat guy but it was so convenient to have a warm meal in the hotel and it probably saved us $100.

When asked to honor a $5 or $10 difference in rate between a smoking and non-smoking room (we don't smoke) guy at booking acted
like
he was doing me the hugest favor in the world putting me 'making that exception.
