1. When asked to honor a $5 or $10 difference in rate between a smoking and non-smoking room (we don't smoke) guy at booking acted like he was doing me the hugest favor in the world putting me 'making that exception.

7. While all of Seattle is expensive, and this place is no exception, we were able to get a nice suite with a meal (sometimes two) and drinks included for about $40 -50 less than other hotels nearby.
