1. Java Jazz is a great restaurant near the supermarket and the food is really nice and fresh, they also have All day breakfast They have some good music going to, so don't forget to try this place out.

2. Foodland, down the road closer to Lahaina, is a much better option for general needs and fresh fish, and there is a small natural foods store not too far to the north.

Also, although we have received fresh towels each day the cleaning so far has been at a minimum (cooked dinner last night and came back to dirty stove and kitchen counters this morning so ended up cleaning my own mess which was a little disappointing since I am on vacation :-) And finally, the pull out couch bed is NOT very comfortable but the main bed in the bedroom is more than comfortable.

9. The food (pastries, fruit and juice) was really fresh and tasty but we probably would have rather gotten up earlier and gone to Haleakala for a sunrise because the time difference has you waking up at 3am which would be a good time to leave in order to get to the summit.

10. It was convenient however having the fridge, stove and microwave making it easy to warm up leftovers and keep our pineapples fresh.
