2. You can't possibly do everything, so my advice would be take the time and look over the schedule ahead of time like they suggest.

3. Those rooms felt a bit more modern to me, and well, a bit more masculine, so that's why I say for me, I think I would have actually been very happy in the 200's or 300's in a smaller space because at times I felt like I was sleeping in an art gallery and wished my husband could be with me.

5. Finally, make sure you make room for the equine experience on your agenda, even if you don't like horses.

6. I would have to say that I wasn't thrilled with the sign up aspect of some of the more involved programs as they always seemed full and so we learned quickly to sign up for everything that looked interesting the night before and then attend what we felt like the next day.

7. Overall, I loved my experience at Miraval and even though I like to try different places, I could see myself going back some day for a 'tune up'.

9. The thai massage and ginger healer were great, but the other massages I did seemed very lackluster and not like money well spent.

10. Places like Asia and South Africa really set the bar high on service, but in my book Miraval delivered.
