1. We were impressed by the style and the amenities here - It seemed more like a full-fledged Marriott than a 'Courtyard,' which is generally the more basic version of the brand.

7. if you want to be pampered, the Hotel Monaco is always a great choice (and we generally stay there) but this hotel offers a better price point and the location is actually a little closer to the Pearl District and Satruday Mkt/waterfront (always something going on there.

8. I would like to commend Marriott for their superior job of staying relevant and not offending the Baby Boomer generation with uncomfortable 'modern' accommodations.
