4. The 15th floor pool at the Viceroy is very impressive, but doesn't get a lot of sun in January and is a little crowded out by the residents of the buildings the Viceroy shares the Icon Brickell property with.

5. When i got there, they did not honor my request, nor any attempt to apologize or accomodate me, just a simple 'it wasn't available', and i was given a room with a non impressive, loud street view.

6. I found the service mediocre, polite at most but definitely not impressed nor anything close to a 4 or 5 star, overheard the parking valet attendants making a racist comment about me in spanish to my face thinking i wouldn't understand.

7. 30 minutes to check us in without any excuse, 4 staff were talking and just doing nothing- Towles at the pool were out at 10 am (Remember, 5 Stars, 310 Dollar per night, unbelievable)- The whole hotel made the impression that best days are over and its only used as a cash cow without any futher investment- I wanted to talk to the management because of the problems we were faced with, not possible, they wanted to get in touch with me via email still waiting for an answerDont get me wrong its a good place to stay and the pool is amazing but if you are used to great service dontexpect too much.
