1. It is much like a private hostel room, so do not be surprised or complain.

2. Bed was ancient and saggy, pillows were thin (but I love them like that) sheets clean, but the middle sheet (fuzzy blanket under the bedspread) was worse for wear - had holes in it, so worn you could see though it in spots.

5. Although people say youre not going to Miami to stay in your room alday, this is true, but if there is a storm like I experienced, your room is the best place for you.

6. The pool was more like a cesspool: hair balls in the water, rusty drains, 'chairs' that were broken, and garbage strewn about the 'landscaping' around the pool.

7. The carpets, paint job, and linens make the hotel look like it was the scene of a series of 1970s porno movies.

8. And just think, you can do what I did and stop at the Delano for a drink, its just three blocks away :) I would recommend staying here to friends on a budget, or maybe a first-timer like me who is more interested in getting to know the city.

9. The POSTIVES: Despite feeling like I was a sleazy extra in a remake of Scarface, not once did I feel unsafe or in danger, as the area around the hotel is pretty secure and there is a consierge sitting outside.

10. ok ill start like this they spend all of there money on the first floor the lobby is nice the lil bar is nice the pool is nice but it close @ 5pm.
