The pool at the hotel s smaller, but they have something going on all the time, has a bar $5 happy hours My kids ad a blast hereThere are several shops at kings and queens markets, kona is about a 30 -40 min drive and has lots of great shopping and eating along the beach, we found the cost of eating really no different from what we experience in Edmonton.

9. We visited the big hotel once or twice, but it was a little too much like a theme park for us - mostly enjoyed the pool close to us and had a good base to head out to great snorkeling and beaches north and south of us.

10. ) was great - although we didn't cook at all, we bought some snacks, coffee, breakfast foods and beverages in Kona on our way from the airport - everyone was able to get up at their own pace and we had our own happy hour in the afternoons overlooking the golf course or by the pool.
