1. A comfortable bed, a quiet room (even though it was airport facing), decent breakfast included, and best of all, no bed bugs.

Room rates are in the 'economy' range - well below $100/night - but the array of amenities is dispropotionately higher: comfortable, quiet rooms with work area, flat screen TV, fridge and microwave, free 'hot and cold' buffet-style breakfast, free wireless Internet, free shuttle service, meeting rooms and restaurant/lounge on premises; and, although I have never used it - to spare other guests the view of me in my bathing suit - a spacious indoor pool area.

6. The walls were thick concrete, so it was very quiet and little outside noise got in - even though this hotel is quite near the airport, the aircraft noise was usually unnoticeable.
