4. We were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome, and while there was a line at the check-in counter (many were still checking-out), it moved VERY quickly, and I waited less than 10 minutes.

5. The staff were in general quite unfriendly (there were a few who were nice but going off the hotel you got the proper US welcome - you could tell they were rushed off their feet and had no way of hiding this).

7. As we pulled into the resort we were greeted by the gate security guard who validated that we were expected & welcomed us to 'The Islands' as he opened the gate for us to drive in.
