1. Some of the other reviews are very accurate, having just spent a week in Vegas at the Encore for less a night than this Holiday Inn rate, it is naturally a let downLoads of new furniture but all decoration tired.

The valet parking is ridiculous, they don't answer the phone when you call for the car so when you go down there is a 15 minute wait for them to bring your car, the staff are surly when you ask them to organise a cab for you ('It is new year they are busy, you'd be best to walk') and the pool area is just awful.

5. I wasn't able to get anywhere else as Miami was at capacity for new Years so had to stay, have spent most of the time avoiding the hotel and whilst my booking was for 5 nights I am checking out after 3.

6. Checked in a few days before new Years for 5 nights but the room we were shown to smelled terrible, a musty/damp odour.

8. I went to the front desk and by the time I got to the front desk clerk, I found out the room was not to be occupied and we were already assigned a new room on the 10th floor.
