1. We justified it by saving on accommodation and then spending on a rental car so we were never in our room except for sleeping.

2. For the most part, this is an adequate hotel and it was surprisingly quiet, given the relatively busy location and number of guests booked over the holiday weekend (except for the chicken coop under our window, but we have wild chickens where I live in Honolulu so maybe I am accustomed).

3. I don't think I'd want to stay here for my whole vacation, although if you're on a budget and don't plan on being in the room much except to sleep and shower, then this is truly a great deal.

4. When we called that morning to check our reservation and see what time we could check in the lady on the phone said check in was not until 4 with no exceptions even though I was having surgery and would be out at 1200.

5. One of the women at the front desk called the police to have us removed from the premises, and this was done for no reason at all as we did not do anything except ask for a clean room.

10. For the record -- the rooms were very clean the staff was exceptional the location for us was perfect the pool was well tended and the grounds were attended to every day we had our own private little beach.
