3. If you are on a very tight budget, this is one of the cheaper hotels around (still not 'cheap' like many places on the main land); it's just not close to the main scenic areas or swimming beaches, or at least, you have to drive to get to them.

4. We stayed on Garden side (Supreme standard room) which is nice and quiet -away from parking lot which is outside of cheaper rooms.

5. Must stop at Keanae Landing Fruit stand for banana bread and smoothies just off the beaten path on the way to Hana, it's way better than Halfway to Hana and cheaper.
