5. But, the island is huge and you would be wise to stay here in Hilo, relax, go to the farmers market and take the short drive to the National park, beaches, and saddle road to start up to the observatories.

8. We had a clean room on the 3rd floor with 3 twin beds in it, just at the height to hear the hundreds of birds in the morning and dusk, and it was huge, as reported before (and they did have an elevator).
