1. Just so you all know, I hesitated to write this review because we'd like to keep the Harbor House our little secret place; if you stay there, I'm sure you'll feel the same way we do, but, don't tell anyone; I don't want too many people to know about this place.

2. Next door to the older section are six casitas; more like studio apartments, with full kitchens and large bathrooms.

4. really close to the beach, one block away, walking distance to state street, wonderful room service and clean cute cottage like feeling rooms.

There was a huge 'welcome basket' full of goodies for us in the kitchen, juices, bannana bread, fruit, biscotti (all complementary) and bathroom was well stocked with thoughtful amenities like a sewing kit and makeup remover wipes (I wear a lot of makeup, and these came in so handy for me on my trip.

The intimacy of the building (it felt like an old-time motel from the 50's), the comfort and quietness of the room (so great not to have "hotel" furniture) and the kindness of the staff (I could see they were concerned when I took off on the bike), all came together to make this probably the best vacation I've had in years.
