1. We had small problem with the new room and the air conditioner - it was hot or freezing with no in between.

3. Had a great stay at the Beachside, its a little run down and the elevator is on the small side but the room was comfortable considering the limited time spent in the room (gone from dawn to late every night) A very quiet building and the staff was fantastic (Kevin was great to chat with and helped us out with anything we needed)It could use some new curtains but other than that it was priced decently and the beach was only across the street.

6. First the good news - the 'beachside' is in a tremendous location and our ocean front room had an incredible view of Waikiki Beach and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

7. We stayed on the 3rd floor and later upgraded to their new Deluxe Ocean View on the 9th floor of this wonderful hotel (13 to 19 Dec 2010), I must say that the unblocked ocean view was fantastic.
