2. The outstanding customer service from Paul Dun in guest relations and the front desk staff are a really important reason why I return to the Island Colony whenever I am in Honolulu and recommend it to those who like the convenience of a kitchenette and helpful, friendly hotel staff.

4. It would have been nice for Castle or Aqua to contact their outstanding bookings to let us know what was going on, as for a few days I wasn't sure whether the hotel even existed anymore).

5. (The only issue we had with our stay was that we'd booked through Castle when they owned the place and sold it to Aqua without telling any of their outstanding bookings.
