1. I had read on the reviews that all the rooms had been recently renovated, and they were just like new.

2. Note - we had to change rooms (no problem w/front desk) - the x22 series rooms are a bit cramped, but front desk was more than happy to accommodate a move; including moving our luggage to the new room while we were out & about (awesome.
